Install

Install @thirdfy/agent-cli, check the version, upgrade, and run it in CI.

Install thirdfy-agent on your machine or in CI, and keep it up to date.

Install

You need Node.js 20 or later.

npm install -g @thirdfy/agent-cli
thirdfy-agent --version --json

To try it without installing it globally, use npx:

npx @thirdfy/agent-cli@latest --help

Upgrade

npm install -g @thirdfy/agent-cli@latest
thirdfy-agent --version --json

New venues and commands ship in CLI releases. If a command in these docs is missing, upgrade first.

To check your install, run thirdfy-agent doctor certify execution --json. It checks your CLI version and command set, and changes nothing.

Use it in CI

In CI, skip email sign-in. Instead, give the CLI two values from your secret store: the agent API key and the agent's 0x key. With both set, actions, preflight, run and intent-status work without signing in.

export THIRDFY_AGENT_API_KEY="${{ secrets.THIRDFY_AGENT_API_KEY }}"
export THIRDFY_AGENT_KEY="${{ secrets.THIRDFY_AGENT_KEY }}"
npx -y @thirdfy/agent-cli@0.5.1 run \
  --action get_cmc_fear_greed --provider cmc --json

Pin a version in CI (@0.5.1), so a new release never changes your pipeline without warning.

To read the result, check success and code in the JSON envelope, then read the output from data.

Where settings live

The CLI saves your profiles, owner session, agent key and execution wallets in ~/.thirdfy/config.json. Keep that file private, like a password. Run thirdfy-agent logout to clear it.
