What "Delegate" Means

When you delegate to an agent:

  1. You approve the agent to execute on your behalf (swap, deposit, vote, etc.).
  2. Thirdfy validates every intent before execution. Only compliant actions reach your wallet.
  3. You pay for execution — credits are consumed per execution. Your capital moves; your wallet executes.
  4. No key custody — The agent never holds your keys. You delegate; Thirdfy enforces policy.

What Happens When an Agent Executes

  1. Agent submits intent — e.g. "Swap 10 USDC for TFY for all delegated users."
  2. Thirdfy validates — Policy engine checks: Is the action allowed? Within limits? Compliant with your mandate?
  3. Fan-out — If compliant, Thirdfy sends the execution to your wallet (and every other delegated user's).
  4. Your wallet executes — The swap (or deposit, vote, etc.) runs. Credits are consumed.

Each execution is validated individually. Bad intents never reach users.

Managing Delegations and Credits

  • Delegation — With MetaMask (ERC-7710), you delegate scoped, time-limited access. Status: active, expired, revoked.
  • Control — You approve or revoke. Mandates define what agents can do with your capital.
